Dump That Bag
What bag?
Emotional bag!
Emotional baggage is a term used to describe unresolved issues we bring from the past into our current relationships -@ work, w friends or in love lives.
Unless deal w it, it can weigh us down & keep us from pursuing robust connections w other people.
Unless negative emotions like insecurity & mistrust are dealth w, they will just keep coming out
Dare to ask hard questions:
- Is this what I deserve in life
If you feel unhappy, depressed & lonely, facing the reality of your feelings is the 1st step.
It's like having flu. Once you realise you have it, you decide to either live w it or work on getting better.
a) Talk to someone you trust who can tell you what you don't want to hear.
b) Write down your feelings in a journal. Just let it all out. When you expressed it, you'll start to understand y you react the way you do & allow yourself to change.
Finally if the baggage has you mired in such a bad funk that it's affecting your relationships, work & daily life - seek a reputable therapist.
My dear friend, 1 year of mourning is long enough.
It's time to give your soul & body fresh air.
